 My first every model
Nordkap
a Danish Fishing
Trawler
Kit By Billing Boats.
The model was a first for me bought for a present one Birthday. I had
never Built a kit
model before.
The box it came in looked a bit flat. then I realized it was a plank on frame
hull gosh!!. As a birthday present I thought better make a start. Allison my wife
did not appreciate the dining room table being commandeered. |

The model has taken me around two weeks to this stage. The model was not originally designed for r/c but easily modified. Largen openings for rc gear and batteries. I fitted a Johnson 540 motor with 2 to1 gearbox. 4m shaft with 40m brass prop.6volt hi-Tec speed controller & used a hi-Tec 2 channel receiver taken me 6weeks to this stage. You can see more detail from this picture, Sorry no more pictures I was not planning to build a web site then. 32" long x 8" Beam. Taken 6weeks to complete very pleased for my first attempt. By the time I finished Nordkap I was addicted.
