The group was formed in 2000 to encourage and promote the hobby of marine modelling in all it's guizes.
We will hopefully provide a brief insight into the Hull Model Boat Group, it's members and the charitable events
we have attended over the years. Many of the groups members are either disabled or retired and this is
perhaps reflected in the extremely high standard of the models that they produce.
Members vary in age from 12 to 80 yrs and everyone is made to feel very welcome. The informal structure of the
Group is it's undoubted attraction and continued success. There are no rules, regulations or formal meetings to
contend with. Like minded modellers have grouped together utilizing basis common sense, fairplay and a willingness
to help and encourage others into this most rewarding hobby. |
