The model is based on the ADRASTUS one of the A - Class ships built for ALFRED HOLTS BLUE FUNNEL line and carried various cargo's Model was built in 1990 based on a modified Clan Ross fibreglass hull from what used to be ABCO Hulls I think you can still get the hull and drawings from Dave Metcalfe. It took approx 18 months to build. Rix's Model Tanker Scratch Built to a very good standard. Jim's Merchant Ship Scratch Built. Done extremely well for is first kit model take a look at the Detail.
